Our Pain Physicians
Jesse Hatgis, DO
Dr. Jesse Hatgis, D.O. is a double board certified osteopathic pain management/physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. As an interventional pain physician, Dr. Hatgis utilizes a variety of advanced therapies including, but not limited to, spinal cord stimulation, kyphoplasty, endoscopic discectomy, tumor ablation, radiofrequency ablation, interspinous process device placement, facet joint stabilization, minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD procedure), nerve blocks, joint injections, and regenerative medicine.
Javier Vilasuso, MD
Dr. Vilasuso, a fellowship-trained interventional pain medicine physician, joined Interventional Pain Specialists in August 2015. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. He attended the University of South Florida where he completed his fellowship training in pain management and residency in anesthesiology.
Prior to joining ISSFL, Dr. Vilasuso established his own medical practice called Miami Pain Specialists, where he treated chronic pain patients with a variety of interventional procedures. He was also with Doctors Hospital at Baptist Health South Florida in Coral Gables overseeing all of the hospital’s pain consults.
